Aromatic herbs or herbs-de-smell are plants, usually small in size, which have different uses and properties. Due to their nutritional composition and the roles they play in health, aromatic herbs are an excellent substitute for SALT, giving flavors, aromas and color to meals.

 AROMATIC

They are plants with non-woody or semi-woody stems of varying sizes, which can acquire the height and effects of a bush. They can be planted in shady places or not. They can be perennial and annual. They are ornamental plants rich in species and varieties, whether in flower beds or in pots. They generally never exceed 2m in height.

Shrub is any plant from the group of angiosperms, dicotyledons and woody, which branches from close to the ground and is smaller (below 6 m) compared to trees. These are plants that do not need large spaces for their proper development. Small, low shrubs, usually no more than 2 meters in height, such as lavender, myrtle, and most small varieties of garden roses, are often referred to as bushes.

Arecaceae is a family of monocotyledonous flowering plants of the order Arecales, also known by the obsolete name of Palmear, which includes the species known by the common name of palm trees. In its current taxonomic circumscription, the family includes 183 genera with around 2600 validly described extant species, including well-known plants such as the coconut and date palm.

PALM TREES

All trees that have aesthetic importance are considered ornamental trees in addition to having a functional value. This means that with their presence an environment can become more beautiful. They are used not only in gardens, but mainly in public areas such as parks, streets, clubs, etc.

There is more than one difference between an ornamental tree and the others, they are: the size, the type of trunk, the shape of the crowns and the color of the leaves, among other characteristics. In addition, they play the fundamental role of providing shade in the places where they are used while also decorating them.

A hedge or hedge is a line of trees and shrubs, planted and trained to form a barrier or demarcate an area, for example between neighboring properties where they grow. Hedges were once used to separate a road from adjacent fields or one field from another.

Conifer is the current designation given to gymnosperm plants of the Coniferophyta division, mostly trees, but also climbing shrubs, present in the tropical and temperate regions of the planet, where they are the main component of the alpine flora. They are the plants capable of living longer.

CONIFERS

Scandent plant, or often climbing plant, climbing plant or plant with scandent growth or with scandentia, is the botanical terminology that designates the habit or way in which some plants grow by sending new shoots upwards, so as to rise towards the light by supporting themselves on trees, rocks, walls or other supports. Scandalism allows rapid growth towards areas with good sun exposure with little physiological investment in the formation of support tissues, being particularly advantageous in formations of dense arboreal vegetation where competition for light is intense. In common language, the term vine is more frequently used to designate climbing plants in general and herbaceous plants in particular, applying the term liana (vine in Brazil) in cases where the plant is woody.

AQUATIC

Aquatic plants are plants that have adapted to life in aquatic environments, occupying a set of habitats that require specific mechanisms for living under water or on the surface of the water. The most common adaptation is the presence of aerenchyma, but the presence of floating leaves and finely dissected leaves are also common.  Aquatic plants can only grow in water or inground that is permanently saturated with water, which makes them dependent on wetlands, ecosystems where they are an important component of the biota.
