CARE
This plant does not like cold rooms, keep it as warm as possible. It also needs an environment with above average humidity, mimicking its natural tropical climate. A way to maintain humidity high is grouping several plants or spraying it frequently with water at room temperature will also help.
Be sure to clean all leaves with a dry cloth – dust can affect light absorption.
You can feed the plant once a month during the growing season with a slow-release fertilizer. Alocasias can have a dormant period where the leaves may die, so don't be alarmed as they will sprout again. During this time, be sure to reduce watering, keeping the soil slightly moist.
LIGHT
This exotic Alocasia needs a lot of bright light, but direct sunlight will burn its leaves.
WATERING
As with most Alocasias, this plant does not like to be completely dry. Keep the soil moist by watering with warm, but not soggy, water during the growing season.
