It is a highly appreciated and sought after cactus, easily recognizable by its characteristic twisted shape.

Its light green stem tending to blue-green, it has an erect habit and with time it can branch out both at the base and along the stem.

It has deep and fine veins, which form a particularly beautiful spiral, hence the name 'Spiralis'.

From the sparse white and fuzzy areoles, needle-shaped spines, typically short, yellow-brown in color, emerge.

During the flowering period, you can admire its beautiful flowers, huge funnel-shaped, white-pink.

The sleek lines make it perfect for enhancing any interior.



Likes exposure to full sun in well ventilated places.


It is preferable to keep it in mild temperatures and never below 10°C, so it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.


Water moderately and only when the soil is completely dry.

Just water it once a week in spring and summer, reduce it to once every two months in the fall, and suspend it completely in the winter.


A well-draining substrate rich in minerals is an ideal solution, for example soil suitable forcacti and succulents.


They do not need frequent fertilization, just apply thefertilizer just once a year.
