Description
Euphorbia flanaganii is an exotic succulent forming a head with multiple branches that resemble snakes. Hence its common name Head of Medusa. Conical or cylindrical central caudex, up to 5 cm long and up to 10 cm in diameter. Soft, thin, dark green arms that can grow up to 30 cm long and deciduous leaves, up to 1 cm long. Yellow-green flower heads, clustered in the center of the plant.
How to grow and care
Euphorbia are very easy to care for. They require a bit of care to get established, but once established they are self-sufficient. In fact, more die from excessive care and watering than from neglect. Euphorbia need well-draining soil and lots of sunlight. They are not picky about soil pH, but they do not tolerate waterlogged soil. Unlike most succulents, Euphorbia do not handle long periods of drought well.
