Ikigai Oxalis

harmony by nature

Happiness can be interpreted in many ways, but in fact we all look for it in balance, contentment, agreement and harmony.

A unique description of happiness is Ikigai, a Japanese approach to 'giving your life meaning'.

According to Japanese tradition, everyone has an Ikigai, something that we would translate as 'a reason for being'.

According to this tradition, it is one of the secrets to a long and happy life.

With Ikigai Oxalis you bring harmony to your home and give a unique piece of happiness as a gift.

Within Ikigai, each variety represents a different message, which we are happy to pass on to you.

Oxalis Care

Light: In order for the flowers to bloom as much as possible, it is advisable to place the plant in a bright place, without too much direct sunlight.

Water: Oxalis likes moist soil. However, avoid overwatering.

Watering once or twice a week is sufficient. It is best to use a pot with drainage options to drain excess water.

Outside: You can also plant the Oxalis outside from May to August! Avoid direct sun and, of course, keep an eye on the humidity.

Good to know: Oxalis naturally has a day and night cycle. If the plant has enough light, it will close its leaves at night when that light is gone.

During the day, to capture as much light as possible, the leaves will open again. Also, the leaves will close briefly when the plant is moved.
