watering

In principle, you cannot give a Sarracenia too much water.

It is no problem for this plant to continually have its feet in water. We recommend placing the plant with the pot on a saucer with water. Make sure there is always a large layer of water in the saucer. It could just be tap water.

Location

Place the plant in a bright place. This is important for growth as well as coloring. It can be on the windowsill or outside. The plant also likes a humid environment.

All Sarracenias in our range can withstand temperatures from -20℃ to 40℃ without any problems. The ideal location is outside.

In autumn and winter, the plant will hibernate. Old chalices will turn brown and few new chalices will be created. Plant development will start again in spring or early summer.

Fertilizer

The same applies to all carnivorous plants. They began to capture insects because they live in nutrient-poor soils. So because you can give a lot of fertilizer quickly, it will be preferable, not to give anything.
