Tillandsia Argentea originally grows in dry areas in Mexico, Guatemala, Cuba and Jamaica. This aerial plant grows as a single as well as in clusters of multiples of the same species and has very fine silver leaves.
 
Tillandsia Argentea barely has roots and grows mostly on rocks and trees. The leaves of this aerial plant grow loose and from the spike of the plant grow purple flowers from the center.
