Origin: Of Chinese origin, the Romans knew it as malum persicum, the Persian apple, its cultivation quickly spread throughout the Mediterranean from where the Spanish and Portuguese introduced it to America.
Aspect: Peaches with a velvety feel, red or orange-red in color and attractively white flesh occasionally flecked with reddish hues.

Flavor: Fruit with a delicate aroma, soft pulp, great juiciness and a sweet to very sweet taste, sometimes with refreshing notes that give it complexity.

In many European countries preferred by the consumer.

Harvest: From early May to mid-July.
